What it is supposed to do:

Decrease muscle breakdown, body fat and blood cholesterol levels, increase lean body mass and enhance muscle recovery.

How it is supposed to work :

Not known.

Toxic effects:

Not known.

Does it work?

Animal studies show that supplementation may increase survival rates in animals exposed to different types of stress.  Studies in humans show inconclusive effects.

Other information:

One of the most expensive dietary supplements available.
