a tranquilizer. May also help with wound healing.
How it's supposed to work?
Thought to affect the
neurotransmitters in the brain.
May also be active against some
bacteria.
Does it work?
May help in treating mild to
moderate depression in some people.
Is
it safe?
May cause stomach upset,
skin itching, restlessness, confusion and skin and eye sensitivity.
Do not use in people with
severe depression or who are suicidal! Please see your doctor
immediately, go to the emergency room or call 911!
Do not sue with other
antidepressants. Do not use if taking coumadin, digoxin, theophylline
or cyclosporin.
